GURPS Character Assistant (GCA) is a Microsoft® Windows® program designed to assist players in creating characters for the GURPS® role-playing game from Steve Jackson Games.
GCA is designed to be a friendly and attractive alternative to the pencil, paper, and eraser mess that usually results when creating a character. By using the program, you will be able to create characters in only a fraction of the time that it used to take with a pencil and a calculator. You may even find that you are able to make better characters, because you can see the results of changes to attributes, advantages & disadvantages, skills and spells right away.

You can download GCA, and try it out for 30 days, free of charge by visiting our Download page. If it turns out that you like GCA, registration currently cost US$22, and you may register from our Register GCA page.
Yes. Everythat that GCA supports is available in the demo. (You may need to use a variety of different data files to actually see all the features available, however, as some features aren't needed for certain data files.) The only limitation the demo has that the full, registered, version does not is the limited usage time.
We think GCA is pretty easy to use, but we do strongly suggest that everyone at least skim through A Quick Tour of GCA, which is available on the Docs & Help page. Not everything is obvious just by looking at the program, and sometimes a little guidance can go a long way.
